Superstar families,
We had a great week here at Brook Park concluding today with an amazing third grade wax museum. The students did an incredible job! We are looking forward to a very busy and fun last month of school! There are just a few things before the weekend:
BPC Art Walk Information:
Join us for the much-anticipated BPC Art Walk, a showcase of artistic talent hosted by the BPC at the Compassion Factory Art Gallery & Studio in downtown Brookfield on Monday, May 6th, from 5:30 to 8pm. As the vibrant hues of children's creativity adorn the walls, parents and guardians are encouraged to secure their young artist's masterpiece with a frame through the pre-sale, ensuring their cherished artworks are elegantly displayed. With only a limited number of frames available on the evening of the show, presale purchases are highly recommended. Frames will be $5 more the evening of the show.
To accommodate Brook Park's large community of budding artists, arrival times will be organized alphabetically by last name:
A-I from 5:30 to 6:30pm
J-R from 6:30 to 7:30pm
S-Z from 7:00 to 8:00pm
Don't miss this delightful celebration of imagination and talent! If you have any questions, please contact Carla Riseman at [email protected] or Jessica Montalbano at [email protected].
Social Emotional Learning - Week of April 22, 2024
This week, teachers had the opportunity to revisit any SEL lessons that they missed or felt their classrooms would benefit from reviewing. The School Social Work Corner is a great place to visit for more information on what students practice during our school wide social emotional learning lessons.

What's Happening Inside the Renovated Library This Week?
Ongoing (Until We Open In Early May)
There’s a lot going on inside the library to give our community a proper welcome!
We're building shelves, cataloging and shelving books, getting our IT just right, and doing a multitude of other behind the scenes tasks!
Let’s hear it for our incredible staff, movers, architects, and construction team!
Lastly, for anyone that reads this far in the blast, the draft was amazing last night and I truly hope that the Bears now have the team to start making the play-offs!!! It was also great to see the “kid from LaGrange Park” JJ McCarthy go to the Minnesota Vikings with the number ten pick. I will now be a Vikings fan for 15 games a year.
Have a great weekend!
