We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and we were happy to welcome our students back to Brook Park this week. The week concluded with our spirit assemblies. There are just a few things coming up before the weekend:
SEL:
During Social Emotional Learning this week, kindergarten, first and second grade focused on learning about feeling worried and using the Stop, Count, In, Out and the ABCs of Positive Thinking strategies. Third, fourth, and fifth grade students focused on ways of letting go of stress. For more information, check out the School Social Work Corner.

Setting Limits & Positive Reinforcement
This month's newsletter highlights the importance of setting limits to teach children rules (for home, for school, for the community) and provide safe boundaries.
