BP Weekly Newsletter 5-5-2023

What an amazing week at Brook Park and our fifth graders and Mrs. Smiley did an amazing job at Shrek Jr. yesterday! Today during our all school spirit assembly Mrs. Calkins' fifth grade class taught all of the students how to say the pledge in sign languange. It is so aweasome when students talent shines!

There are many important things coming up the next few weeks including MAP Testing next week. I also want to feature a picture of our growing lost and found that is located right inside Door #1. All of these items will be donated at the end of the school year.

We are very excited that the Art Walk is returning to Brook Park Wednesday, May 10th! This year the Art Walk will be held at the Compassion Factory Art Gallery & Studio from 5:30 - 8:00. We are excited to bring you this event to celebrate your student's art in a gallery setting. You will have the opportunity to purchase framing for your student's art before it comes home to you. The cost for framing will be $25 or $20 if you pre-order using the attached form.

BrightBytes Survey

We are partnering with BrightBytes, an educational research and analytics company, in order to learn more about our students’ school and home technology use for learning.

We are reaching out to ask you to take part in our District 95 BrightBytes questionnaire. Your participation is essential in helping us form a more complete picture of technology use for learning in your students’ lives. Please know that all of your responses will remain anonymous to protect your privacy and they will help your child's school make the best technology decisions for their classrooms. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

The last day to complete this questionnaire has been extended to  Friday, May 12, 2023

Please go to: www.BByt.es/FU8YP

Thank you for taking part in this important process!
