Superstar families,

We had a great week here at Brook Park! We were so proud of how determined all of our students were this week during our Winter MAP testing. We also enjoyed celebrating our makeup winter parties today as well as Dress like Mr. Sorensen Day! Here are some things coming up before the weekend:

SEL Blurb:

Last week, kindergarten, first and second grade finished the final lesson from the Strong Start Curriculum.  This week, they had the opportunity to revisit any lessons that they needed to review or catch up on any missed lessons.  Third, fourth, and fifth grades explored strategies for letting go of stress (Strong Kids Lesson 10).  Check out the BP School Social Work Corner for more information.

Kindergarten Enrollment:

Kindergarten Enrollment for the 2023-2024 School Year is almost here! Online enrollment is open and this is the first step to complete. 

There will be an in person Kindergarten Enrollment event on February 1st and February 6th from 3:45-7:00 at Brook Park to bring in the required documentation. If you have a child who will be five on or before September 1, 2023, please sign up for a time slot here! 

Current District 95 ECE families do not need to sign up for a time slot, but can stop by either evening to pick up the informational packet.

Who is ready for Spring Break? No need for the kiddos to spend the week at home! Kids will participate in arts and crafts, physical fitness and other exciting recreational activities.
