We had a very busy short week this week and enjoyed our special day on Twosday! We have enclosed the letter that Dr. Kuzniewski sent out yesterday afternoon in case you missed it:
As promised earlier this week, I wanted to provide you with two documents for our move to mask recommended, not required on Monday February 28.
The first document is our original reopening plan revised to align all areas with the new masking protocols. This document is effective February 28 and will be updated to the website tomorrow afternoon. You will always be able to reference this document on the website. You may also view the document here.
The second document is a FAQ that has been developed to help provide you with immediate answers to some of the anticipated questions. This FAQ is also available on our website. You may also view the document here.
As I reflect on the last two years, I am reminded that we have had many steps along the way that embodied emotion, anxiousness, questions, and concern. I know this is another one of those steps. However, I am also reminded that in each of those instances we have been successful. I appreciate the cooperation of the entire D95 community. It is this cooperation that has allowed for our success.
SEL Blurb:
In kindergarten, first and second grade, students discussed friendship. Ask your student what are two things friends do, two things friends say, and two things friends do NOT do.
In third, fourth, and fifth grade, students learned more about self advocacy. Attached are the steps for Asking for Help.
BPC:
Every year the BPC provides the Brook Park School Directory. This is a great way to link up with other families in your classroom.
