We have had a wonderful and festive week here at Brook Park celebrating Red Ribbon Week and celebrating Halloween. It has been so fun to see the students participate in our different spirit days. Here are some things coming up:
SEL:
This week, Brook Park celebrated Red Ribbon Week. The 2021 Red Ribbon Week theme was Drug Free Looks Like Me. Students practiced self-care strategies including yoga, positive self talk, and self advocacy.
BPC:
The BPC informed us that Trunk or Treat will happen tonight rain or shine!
The Brook Park Council will host its second annual Virtual Costume Contest for ALL students Friday, Oct. 29.
Completely optional, costume or not, your child is welcome to record a short video by 11:59 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29.
Vote for your favorite within your gradel level between 11:59pm Friday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31 by marking "vote" under the video.

And announced on Friday during morning announcements. Each winner from each grade level will receive a prize.

During the week of November 15-November 19, we will be collecting donations for our neighbors who use the Share Food Share Love Food Pantry. Let’s show the community what Superstars we really are! These are the requested items, but any canned or non-perishable item is appreciated.
