Happy August! We are so excited to welcome back all of our Superstars to school this month! We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and has had time to relax, recharge and enjoy time as a family. Here are some important things to look forward to as we begin the 2021-2022 school year:
2021-2022 Return to School Plan: Please take a look at the updated plan approved at the July 29th School Board Meeting.
School Supplies: You can find all of the school supply lists here. If you ordered a kit through the BPC, the kit will be in your child’s assigned classroom during Meet the Teacher.
Class Assignments: You will receive an email from Ms. King (K-2 families) or Mr. Sorensen (3-5 families) on Thursday, August 12th with your child’s classroom assignment for this school year. We will not be posting lists on the front doors of the school.
Meet the Teacher: You will have an opportunity to come in and meet your child’s teacher, see their classroom and drop off school supplies on Monday, August 23rd. Meet the Teacher will take place from 12:00-3:00 PM and you will sign up for a time slot. A sign up will be sent out the week prior to Meet the Teacher.
Back to School Procedures: The Brook Park Back to School Procedure Video will be making its debut on Friday, August 13th. This helps ensure a safe and smooth start of the year!
First Day of School: The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 25th. This is a full day of school for all Kindergarten-5th Grade students.
