BP Weekly Newsletter 5-21-21

Superstar families,

We want to thank all of the Grade 3-5 families for their flexibility this week and having all of the classroom instruction on Zoom. The IAR testing went very well and hopefully we will never have to conduct these tests in such a unique way again. It is hard to believe there is only one week of school left for this unprecedented year. We look forward to planning next year and our return to full in person learning! Thank you so much for all of your dedication and support during this year. Here are some things looking forward to the LAST WEEK:

One Summer, One Book

One School, One Book has been a long-standing tradition here at Brook Park. We are excited to announce One Summer, One Book! Each grade level will be receiving a copy of a series book generously donated by the BPC. You will be able to find discussion questions, activities, and other books in the series to read on the District 95 Summer Scholars website. We hope your child has fun reading and discussing the book with their friends this summer. The books will come home with report cards on the last day of school. The books are as follows:

K:  Don't Throw it to Mo

First Grade: Mercy Watson to the Rescue

Second Grade: Stink, the Incredible Shrinking Kid

Third Grade: The World According to Humphrey

Fourth Grade: Crenshaw

Fifth Grade: Supergifted

Happy summer reading! Thank you BPC! πŸ˜„
