Superstar families,
We hope everyone had a great week and are ready for a modified week next week for 3rd-5th Grade students. Tuesday-Friday students in grades 3-5 will be taking the IAR test during their normal AM/PM Hybrid/Remote (in-person only) time. During the opposite half of the day, they will be receiving Zoom instruction from their classroom teacher. I have attached the email that was sent out earlier in the week. Information should have already gone home for the change from the classroom teachers and included the Zoom link. Please contact your teacher, if you have any questions about the Zoom instruction.
Kindergarten through 2nd Grade students will have no change in the schedule and do not participate in IAR testing. Here are a few other announcements looking ahead:

Summer Supports:
We will be hosting a Zoom informational meeting on summer supports. This meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 18th. There are different times for the different grade bands:
K-2 Parents: 5:30-6:00
3-5 Parents: 6:00-6:30

Summer Technology Assistance in District 95:
District 95 is looking for summer technicians. Ideally, this candidate will be a high school graduate or college student looking for a summer work opportunity. This technician will be responsible for the movement, imaging, maintenance and re-deployment of district devices. Please fill out the online application on our district website.
Starburst Scavenger Hunt:
The BPC is hosting a Starburst Scavenger Hunt throughout local businesses May 15th-23rd. See the informational flier here. You can share your findings from each clue on Flipgrid to win prizes!

All ages are welcome to attend!
The scavenger hunt will have locations throughout Brookfield to spread awareness of local homelessness including housing struggles and food scarcity.
