Superstar families,
We had an amazing week here at Brook Park and are enjoying the incredible warm weather as we hope you are too. There are quite a bit of exciting things coming up in the next few weeks including Spring Break, which takes place the week of March 22-26th. Here are a few important things to keep in mind:
School Safety:
It is important as the weather is getting warmer to be careful driving around the school building. There will be more families walking or riding their bikes home each day so please be careful around the school building. Please make sure that if your family is utilizing the playground that everyone should be wearing masks, social distancing and avoiding group activities. Thanks for helping us keep everyone safe!
Last Return to Hybrid:
Just a reminder that remote families have received the final switch to hybrid survey on Monday, March 8th. You have to submit by the end of the day today, March 12th. Any students coming back to hybrid would return on Monday, March 29th. Please complete this survey if you would like to return from Remote to Hybrid for the remainder of the school year.
Spring Clubs:
Please take a look at our Brook Park Spring Clubs. There are opportunities for some Zoom Clubs and In Person Clubs for the spring. Click here for the exciting club opportunities at Brook Park School! The deadline to sign up for clubs is today, March 12th.
5 Essentials Survey:
We are inviting parents to complete the 5 Essentials Survey about Brook Park School and the link is http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/ This information is important for us to grow as a school. The survey is open from Feb. 3, 2021 and closes April 2, 2021. We are currently at just over 23% of parents that have completed the survey and this is the first time we get to see our parent feedback. Thank you for your participation in this!
BPC:
It is yearbook ordering time through the BPC! An order form came home today and click here to see the flyer.
Community Events:
Pack 90 is hosting their annual 2021 Pinewood Derby and they would like to invite any interested parents to scouts to learn more about Pack 90.
