We had a great, short week this week here at Brook Park. We hope your family has some time to relax and enjoy the long President’s Day weekend. Here are a few important reminders about things coming up:
MAP Testing/Report Cards:
- MAP Testing is just about complete for all students in grade K-5. We were very impressed with how well our youngest scholars did completing the MAP Test for the first time. MAP Reports and Report Cards will go home on Friday, March 5th for Hybrid students and Thursday, March 4th and Friday, March 5th for Remote students during the Remote Pick-up days.
Upcoming Days Off:
- Just a reminder that there is no school Friday, February 12th or Monday, February 15th.
5 Essentials Survey:
- We are inviting parents to complete the 5 Essentials Survey about Brook Park School and the link is http://survey.5-essentials.
org/illinois/survey/parent/ This information is important for us to grow as a school. The survey is open from Feb. 3, 2021 and closes April 2, 2021. We are currently at just over 5% of parents that have completed the survey and we have to get to 20% to be able to see the data. Thank you for your participation in this!
Outside Organizations:
- Community Park District of LaGrange Park: Check out their information about upcoming programs.
- Girl Scouts: Kindergarten and Pre-School Parents please check out information about the Girls Scouts in English or Spanish.
- Right at School: Information about the Right at School Wrap and After School Care.
